Splash page for CRM 2011 Outlook client -


we have crm dynamics 2011 setup outlook client. need show sort of splash page or user friendly message outlook client when crm server not available ( maybe in maintenance mode / release going on etc.)

how can achieve that? if web, have been easier, how achieve in outlook client.

we cannot take outlook offline mode offline mode not permitted in organization.

any appreciated.

we still running dynamics crm 4.0. using "a redirection url" option on properties of root site , pointing custom simple html page able display own splash page both in ie client , in outlook client.
