c++ Qt Qwt build issue -


i qt neophyte apologize in advance if question obvious...

i downloaded , installed latest version of qt creator 5 qwt (qt widgets technical applications) on windows7 machine.

qwt.pro not build using qt creator on windows machine.

it worked fine on ubuntu machine using qt creator 4.

is there compatibility issue qwt , newest version of qt??

have installed mingw version qt? if not make sure have installed visual studio, contains msvc compiler. started use mingw version, msvc compiler faster on windows more complicated set up. testing run qmake in qwt directory directly qt console (start menu). make sure can build simple hello world project qt creator first.
