objective c - How to connect an iOS app to a database (mySQL & SequelPro)? -


i'm searching way connect app database, created in sequel pro connected mysql server (started on mamp). i've searched solutions there hundreds of different posts, said sqlite possibility, others said coredata perfect.

now found framework called 'mcpkit', framework isn't up-to-date , looks apple recommends coredata data management. (https://developer.apple.com/technologies/ios/data-management.html)

i'm not familiar coredata , i'll happy if knows other way build connection.

i try specific possible if have questions, please ask.

connecting mysql database possible. did via php returned xml file app parsed , stored.
