sql - Is there any alternative of DBCC CHECKIDENT? -


is there alternative (e.g. alter column query) of dbcc checkident in sql server?

you may try this.

 set identity_insert [mytable] on insert mytable(id,name)values (@autoincrementvalue-1,'siva') set identity_insert [mytable] off  --insert table or whatever here -- delete value inserted delete mytable id=@autoincrementvalue-1

but prefer dbcc checkident. may use satisfy tl.
