nginx - ServiceStack-based web site under Mono/Linux: Performance with static content -


i'm planning on converting asp.net mvc web site servicestack razor, aim of hosting on linux server.

what best solution serving static content of site? self hosted daemon behind nginx ok, or should use nginx serve directly? benefits/disadvantages using mono fastcgi?

if have opportunity to, serve static files nginx, efficient option.
