java - ADT reverting back to standard Eclipse when installing plugin -


i'm using adt of eclipse, downloaded android dev site. each time install plugin , restart adt, splash screen reverts this (the adt splash) http://www.stuermer-benjamin.de/v12_1/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/001_launch_eclipse_4.2_juno.jpg&w=905&h=">this (the vanilla eclipse splash). after application has loaded, way have panels laid out reverts default , ui doesn't regular eclipse interface this instead elements grey , boxy. plugin never works - when try perform action plugin should handle error message popup.

i've had happen plugin try use (from > install new software... dialog). each time have had delete , recreate eclipse program folder fresh download. know going wrong , how can fix this/install plugins correctly?
