Websphere portal deactivate portal pages -


when start websphere portal console , go manage pages, see whole bunch of portal pages in active status. these ibm internal portlet pages. not use them. there way safely deactivate @ least of these portlets? goal save on startup time of portal server.

there couple of options this. first link portal light mode , second 1 talks developer mode. both similar things developer mode loads fewer things on start up.

also, having page active or disabled shouldn't affect startup time. preventing portlet applications starting on startup though. used both terms in question want make sure clear , don't disable pages expecting improvements.
