i able input dept# in let's cell d2 , have formula in cells a11, a12, a13, etc auto populate subaccount numbers based on dept# input. 1 subaccount per cell. example:

been looking @ countif arrays still can't seem figure out or if it's possible without using vba.

please note not use pivot table nor list drop down menu. also, cells f1 through h7 on sample on tab , data table larger more columns.
