visual studio 2010 - Microsoft Coded UI Test takes exteremly long time to refresh page with cascading dropdowns -


unfortunately cannot post source code i've seen behavior on multiple websites.

i have page contains 3 drop downs. first drop down populate second, second populating third.

each drop down initiates post-back. while regularly navigating site, works extremely fast, without hitch. however, coded ui test, takes extremely long time load page after making each selection. i'm guessing since page post-back, there's stuff test must before continuing.

has experienced similar issues?

i think behavior occurs because codedui tests collecting many data pc executed.

i suggest disable data , diagnostics, editing testsettings file.

then, if tests running faster try find balance between data want collect , test's optimization.
