stl - Absense of standardized naming convention in the C++ "standard" -


is me or "standard" c++ library totally absent of uniformity when comes naming conventions?

there underscore_identifiers, there many undecoratedidentifiers, there capitalized std::ios_base::init, there stl classes in lowercase, other oddities.

how can mess of naming conventions classified standard, logical paradox...

why isn't naming convention enforced?

standard-ness orthogonal neatness, unfortunately.
